Leonard Osser, Chief Executive
Officer
In March of 2009, Leonard reassumed the position of Milestone’s
Chief Executive Officer and has served as the Company’s
Chairman from 1991 until September of 2009. He originally
served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer from 1991
through 2007. From 1980 until the consummation of
Milestone’s public offering in November 1995, Leonard was
primarily engaged as the principal owner and Chief Executive
Officer of U.S. Asian Consulting Group, Inc., a New Jersey-based
provider of consulting services specializing in distressed
or turnaround situations in both the public and private
markets.
Joseph D’Agostino, Chief Financial Officer
Joining Milestone in January 2008
as CFO, Joseph brings Milestone a wealth of finance and
accounting experience earned over 25 years serving both
publicly and privately held companies. A
results-oriented and decisive leader, he has specific proven
expertise in treasury and cash management, strategic planning,
nformation technology, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley
compliance, operations and financial and tax accounting. Immediately
prior to joining Milestone, Joseph served as Senior Vice
President and Treasurer of Summit Global Logistics, a publicly
traded, full service international freight forwarder and
customs broker with operations in the United States and China.
Previous executive posts also included
Executive Vice President and CFO of Haynes Security, Inc.,
a leading electronic and manned security solutions company
serving government agencies and commercial enterprises; Executive
Vice President of Finance and Administration for Casio, Inc.,
the U.S. subsidiary of Casio Computer Co., Ltd., a leading
manufacturer of consumer electronics with subsidiaries throughout
the world; and Manager of Accounting and Auditing for KPMG’s
national office in New York City. Joseph is a Certified Public Accountant and
holds memberships in the American Institute of CPA’s, New Jersey
Society of CPA’s, Financial Executive Institute, Consumer Electronics
Industry Association and Homeland Security Industry Association. He
is a graduate of William Paterson University where he earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Science.
Mark Hochman,
D.D.S., Director of Clinical Affairs Dr. Hochman has served as Director
of Clinical Affairs and Director of Research and Development
since 1999. He
has a Doctorate of Dental Surgery with advanced training
in the specialties of Periodontics, Orthodontics and Implant
Dentistry from New York University of College of Dental Surgery,
and has been practicing Dentistry since 1984. He formally
held a part-time faculty appointment as a clinical associate
professor at NYU School of Dental Surgery for over ten years
and remains an active international lecturer on a variety
of topics. He is recognized as a world authority on
Advanced Drug Delivery Systems, having published numerous
scientific articles in this area, and is credited for developing
several new techniques using this innovative technology. Dr.
Hochman has been responsible for inventing and contributing
to the development of much of the technology currently available
from Milestone.
Dr. Eugene
Casagrande, Director of International & Professional
Relations
Dr. Casagrande has practiced Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry for over 30 years in Los Angeles. He is past president of the California State Board of Dentistry and the Los Angeles Dental Society and is a Fellow of the American and International Colleges of Dentists. Dr. Casagrande has served as a member of the faculty of the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry. He was also the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Oral Health Foundation and the Program Director of the Los Angeles Pediatric Oral Health Access Program. Since 1998, Dr. Casagrande has authored multiple published articles and lectured both nationally and internationally at over 80 dental schools and in over 50 countries on Computer-Controlled Local Anesthesia Delivery
(C-CLAD™) and Milestone’s dental products.
Stephen
Solomon, Director, Engineering and Regulatory Affairs Stephen joined Milestone in 2007 as a Director of
Engineering and Regulatory Affairs. He has over 30 years
of experience in the computer, electronics and medical device
industries. Prior to joining Milestone, Stephen ran the
engineering services department at RFL Electronics from 1998
to 2007. He also worked in various Director and Senior
Mechanical Engineering positions for Medjet Inc., Datascope
Corporation, Unisys Corporation and PerkinElmer, Inc. His
career began in 1970 with Rockwell International, where he
was responsible for designing environmental protection equipment
as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Stephen is a member
of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers -
the world’s leading professional association for the advancement
of technology. He has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Loyola University, a Master of Business Administration
degree from Rutgers’ Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences from
the University of California.
Dale Johnson, Director of International Distribution A
25-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, Dale joined
Milestone in 2010 after serving first as Director of Marketing
and then Vice President, International Business at Zila
Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a leader in the prevention and treatment
of oral diseases. While
at Zila, he was instrumental in building a worldwide distribution
network for Zila’s products, which included Vizilite Plus and Peridex;
and was responsible for the development of key marketing strategies
to get dental professionals to screen for oral cancer utilizing
Zila’s proprietary technology with a goal of identifying oral
cancer in the early stage. Dale’s prior executive posts
also included Executive Vice President at MedLearning, a communications
company serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries;
Group Vice President of Business Development at DOBI Medical
Systems, Inc., a technology company engaged in the diagnosis
of breast cancer; and Executive Vice President at Apex Communications,
Inc., a medical communications company providing marketing
and communications support to a blue chip customer base that
included Pfizer, GlaxoWellcome, AstraZeneca, and SmithKline
Beecham, among many more. From 1984 through 1995, Dale
rose through the ranks at Glaxo, Inc., beginning first as a
sales executive and ascending to International Marketing Director
for Dermatology Products.
Marvin Terrell, Director of Domestic Distribution In
2010, Marvin joined Milestone to oversee the Company’s
distribution network in the United States and Canada. Previously,
he served as North American Director of Sales for OralCDx Laboratories,
a division of Oral Cancer Prevention International, Inc., where
he conceptualized and implemented sales and marketing strategies
aimed at increasing global market penetration for the BrushTest®,
a quick and painless method that dentists use to detect oral
cancer. While serving as Vice President of Sales and
New Business Development for Professional Dental Technologies,
he managed day-to-day sales and business development activities
for the dental division, representing over $40 million in annual
sales. Prior senior management posts have also included
Manager, National Accounts, Medical Division at HPSC, Inc.;
and Director of National Accounts and Medical Business Development
at Old Kent Bank Leasing, Inc. Marvin began his professional
career at Wells Fargo, initially serving as Director of Operations
of the Company’s Orlando, Florida business unit, followed by
Corporate Retail Marketing Manager at its Consumer Division
in Des Moines, Iowa; and later as Director of National Accounts,
Leasing and Revolving Sales at Wells Fargo Leasing in O’Fallon,
Missouri. Marvin is a graduate of Valdosta State
University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
in Communications and Marketing.
