The precision of injection, made possible by the CompuFlo^® system, significantly increases and enhances the safety and efficacy of many injection procedures that currently rely on 150-year-old hypodermic syringe technology and the subjective tactile senses and delivery experience of the administrator – making the task of performing a subcutaneous injection more of an art form than a science. 

Precisely controlling in-tissue pressure and flow rate increases patient safety and comfort by reducing the risk of tissue damage and post-treatment pain related to excessive uncontrolled pressure and rate that may occur during injections.  Identification of the tissue, in which the needle tip is placed, is understood to be highly important – particularly in critical injections techniques, such as an epidural injection, intra-articular injection and numerous other injections in which anatomic site localization is important, if not critical, to the outcome.
