For routine restorative needs, I haven't given a block in 2 months, what a pleasure! This has applied to crowns, root canals and routine restorative dentistry

Lou Graham, D.D.S.

The STA System was designed to allow the dentist to perform the desirable Intraligamentary [PDL] injection as a predictable, primary dental injection replacing the need to perform an Inferior Alveolar block for single tooth anesthesia.

Dr. Mark Hochman

C-CLAD causes less pain on injection, why wouldn’t you use it? It’s just that simple.

Dr. Alfred Reader

With STA I get very good blocks with good onset, or better than I ever did with the syringe.

John Brescia D.D.S.

…minimizing disruptive behavior [caused by stress and fear] in the pediatric patient” is a major benefit because “they don’t even know they’re getting an injection.

William H. Lieberman, D.D.S., M.B.A

With STA, what you are going to get is quick profound anesthesia on the mandible. It lets me go straight to work without waiting 10 or 15 minutes, to see if I got profound anesthesia.

Martin Jablow DMD

The advantage of the STA as a pediatric dentist that treats children and disabled adults is that the patient receives local anesthesia quickly, painlessly, and I don't have to worry about the patient going home and biting their lip or tongue due to the numb feeling.

Fred S. Margolis, DDS
Pediatric Dentist

Most patients appreciate not having to deal with prolonged numbness, especially if the patient interacts with the public at their place of work or is required to do an oral presentation following treatment.

Instead of separate appointments for routine restorative treatment to avoid anesthetizing opposite sides of the mouth in the same visit, the patient is able to have individual teeth numbed up that are located contra-laterally to each other and combine what was formerly a required two-visit treatment plan into a single visit. This saves the patient’s time and transportation cost (gas!) and saves the practice the overhead of an additional visit’s setup.

For a badly abscessed tooth with soft and hard tissue involvement, in addition to a regular block to anesthetize the region, being able to switch to a PDA and ultimately intrapulpal routes with the same syringe-needle setup, helps manage a “hot” tooth quickly and comfortably.

For patients having local intraoral anesthetic for the first time, like children and younger adults, the apparatus is perceived less threatening and more modern.

Dr. Treva D. Lee

The STA System has been well-received by my patients due to its refined design and minimal invasiveness. The STA is particularly effective in mandibular posterior applications and I would unhesitatingly recommend the instrument to any dentist wanting to improve his or her anesthetic toolkit.

Dr. Michael B. Bruno

I have been using the STA.. it is awesome! I was able to anesthetize a patient that I have NEVER been able to get numb for 10 years. The mandibular block never worked. I ordered a set of those bonded needles as well, but unfortunately, they were lost in transit and I never received them, so I will need to order more. I tell everyone about the STA.

John Agelopoulos DMD

I have been using the STA System for the past year and am extremely confident in its efficacy. In my professional opinion, there are many advantages to using this injection technology and it has become the delivery system of choice for most mandibular restorations in my practice.

I have practiced in a small community for 28 years and this innovative instrument has been very beneficial to both my patients and me.

The STA System has permitted me to deliver anesthesia to a lower tooth and begin working immediately. This time-saving method has all but eliminated the non-productive 10 to 15 minutes per patient delay I previously experienced awaiting profound anesthesia from the mandibular block. I have removed erupted third molars, gained endodontic access and prepared teeth for all-porcelain crowns with the STA.

There is only a minor learning curve, and once comfortable with the hand piece, one will find great success with limited potential for an iatrogenic event. On vary rare occasions, some patients have noted some discomfort in the area of the injection, but these occurrences have not discouraged me from utilizing the STA System for most lower procedures as the overwhelming number of patients experience little to no discomfort.

Please feel free to share my office telephone number with doctors interested in discussing my personal and professional perspective and experience with the STA System.

This is the second generation of STA I've owned... my first was in 2000. I've purchased two units and it is absolutely one of the "win-win" investments I've made in my career. Children have "shots" without ever knowing what's happened to them. Adults marvel at the single-tooth-anesthesia in the mandible. My employees won't consider work done on them without it! All the "buzz" is positive

The STA has revolutionized my practice as efficiency and production are up due to instantaneous profound anesthesia. The injections are stress-free and simple for me, and completely comfortable for the patient. The patients can't believe they are anesthetized so effortlessly and they spread the word quickly!

Last year at a BDM at the Brownstone, we received a presentation by Mitch
Rieders or MAR Enterprises which distribute the STA (Single Tooth Anesthesia) Unit. I didn't pay as much attention to it as many of you all because I don't sell it, but I remembered that it sounded and looked pretty neat. Recently, I have needed an onlay to be placed (on my lower) and my doctor COULD NOT get me numb with 3 carpules of septocaine. She tried twice on 2 separate visits where I wasted my time and her time!. I never thought I would get my temp out and my onlay set. I remembered Mitch and asked him to come into Manhattan to do a demo at my doctor's office. I told him maybe she'd buy it if it worked.

Well as I type an hour after getting back not only do I have my onlay set, but not a single bit of numbness left. I felt absolutely NOTHING when my dentist was using this device and she was able to drill without me feeling a thing!!!

I wanted to send this out to the team to let you know how great this device is. I'm not being paid or given anything under the table, and I can't even sell this device, I just think it's amazing and wanted to alert you all to a success story. For a few thousand bucks, this is 100% DEFINITELY worth the investment for a doctor.
